Heinfels Castle is an extensive hilltop castle above Heinfels in East Tyrol. The strategically well-located weir system at 1130 m above sea level. A. is a prominent landmark of the eastern Puster Valley. From the castle you have a wide view up and down and into the Tyrolean Gail Valley, which flows opposite.

My tip: Be sure to take a guided tour. You get almost every corner of the castle shown and of course explained. For example, the castle was still inhabited until 2004.

The castle was extensively renovated within (only) four years. A perfect symbiosis of old and new has been created - great. Is often booked for parties, weddings, etc.
