This descent has it all. Wonderful view of the adjacent Walchsee, but watch out, because the eyes are here definitely on the street. A magnificent adrenaline rush after a difficult ascent.

The Kesselberg, a mountain pass between Kochel and Walchensee, is often heavily used. It is advisable to drive it early in the morning, because otherwise you can not enjoy the beautiful route because of all the cars, RVs and motorcycles. There are stops to breathe with a nice view down. Hiking trails branch off at the pass. The old Kesselbergstraße is no longer passable, scree and partly very steep, so for "normal" wheels so not necessarily suitable. The first part helped me shorten the route, but then I followed the road today.
