Åhus is the home town of the famous vodka brand ABSOLUT that you can buy in a large variety of flavours. To be precise, the vodka has been produced since 1879, first by making a 96 % distillate from winter wheat at the distillery in Tings Nöbbelöv in southern Sweden, which is diluted to 40 % alcohol content in Åhus with its own spring water.
