Bottsand Nature Reserve

Information about the Bottsand nature reserve or Bottsander Beach, as it is also called, is available from the NABU nature station, which you can find right up on the dike. Oh yes, the toilets are also in the same house - downstairs;)

You can reach Wendtorf Beach from Kiel via the B 502, then follow the signs to "Marina Wendtorf". A good tip for parking is the "Bottsand" beach car park on Schleusenweg Wendtorf, which you have to drive through almost to the end. Then turn right before the campsite! The parking lot is chargeable, but big enough. And there are also a few shaded parking spaces in summer!

In autumn with the dog along the beach, simply wonderful.
