Back then, people would say "over the Jordan" if they wanted to go from Barsbek to Wendtorf. Now, they didn't walk to Israel, but simply crossed a fence ditch. Where the "Jordan" once was, there is now a paved path. So, if you want to go to Wendtorf now, the Jordan is no longer an obstacle.
