Butter Spring

At this point / I would like to quickly / say something about the source:
To quote the incomparable humorist Heinz Erhardt (1909-1979), who was known to a wide audience for his pun and "Noch'n Gedicht", with a short quatrain:

The "butter source" is reminiscent of "cooling technology" from the last century. To make butter, the milk must be well chilled. And so the peasants dragged their milk churns to this spring, because they reliably provided clear and very cold water.
