The impressive ruins of the Castello di Arco perched on a rock, almost 278 meters high above the town of Arco and was once the residence of the Count of Arco - hence the name. The origins of the complex go back to the 6th century.

You can visit the ruin daily, the opening times are as follows:
Winter (October - March): 10am to 4pm
Summer (April - September): 10am to 7pm

Going up the village, past the magnificent olive grove to the Prato della Lizza and on past the three walls more than twenty meters high, which survived Napoleon's bombardment, you come to the "Castello di Arco", situated at the top of a picturesque landscape Rocks perched high above Lake Garda.
