The cemetery of Crespi d'Adda, located south of the village, at the end of the main avenue, was built between 1905 and 1908 based on a design by Gaetano Moretti, who won a public competition wanted by Silvio Benigno Crespi and announced by the Academy of fine arts of Brera.
The cemetery has a square-shaped layout: the entrance is located to the north, while on the opposite side stands the Crespi family mausoleum made of rustic stump and decorative concrete, in an eclectic and exotic style. The tombs of the workers and their families are characterized by simple stone crosses arranged in rows and once delimited by myrtle hedges. Tombs with a richer decorative apparatus are found along the side walls of the cemetery and could be chosen by the workers, at their own expense, as an alternative to the standard model created at the company's expense.
