The village of Oberwarngau forms the center of the municipality of Warngau, which according to Wikipedia comprises an incredible 81 districts (most of them wastelands and hamlets). In the village center marked here you will find the classic ensemble of town hall, inn (Zur Post), the large parish church (All Saints Church from the 15th century) with cemetery and some other buildings (including an Italian ice cream parlor) and old trees. Everything is nicely arranged and makes a tidy impression.
