After tackling the 22 percent gradient road from Dornbirn to Alberschwende, you'll first be rewarded with a magnificent view of Lake Constance. As you continue to Egg, views of the Bregenzerwald and the Damülser Mittagsspitze open up. On the return journey, you should pause briefly at the start of the steep descent to Dornbirn and enjoy the impressive view of the Rhine Valley with the Alpstein and Säntis mountains.
