There is an information pavilion about the north face of the Eiger at Lake Fallbodensee. You receive information about the routes to the summit and a historical review of the first ascent. There are also benches in the water where you can cool your feet and relax after your hike. You also have a great all-round view.

Hiking
The Fallbodensee is located on the Eiger Trail, just above Kleine Scheidegg.
By the lake there is a small chapel with a collection of old cameras on the ceiling (the flashes are triggered when you enter the corridor - don't be alarmed!), and a wooden relief of the Eiger onto which the climbing routes can be projected.
Next to the chapel there are benches in a pool for cooling your feet. With a bubbling effect that can be switched on (on the post behind the benches).
