Cologne and Heilenbecker Strasse meet at the acute angle on the Timpen in Ennepetal. This is exactly where the building, popularly known as the "Iron House", stands with its almost triangular floor plan. Exactly this is reminiscent of the shape of an iron. There are not too many "Flatiron Buildings" in Germany and so it is an eye-catcher in Ennepetal. In 1902 the now listed building was built. The house with its three-storey, semicircular bay window and the pointed tower shows itself from its most beautiful "side" at an acute angle. A fascinating and unique photo motif is available here - so have your camera ready.
