The former water mill in Plau am See (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), Mühlenstraße 1 at the corner of Rahmwallstraße on the Elde, was built in the 18th century and is now a residential building.

A Plau water mill on the Elde was first mentioned in a document in 1273. A second water mill soon followed a short distance away on a second arm of the Elde. In the town fire of 1756, many half-timbered houses burned down - including the mill.
The terracotta-colored two-story half-timbered building with silted stone infills, the dormer and the hipped roof with bat dormers was rebuilt on the Elde after 1756.
