A jewel of the village square is the stone village fountain, built in the 1960s, with a copper statue showing Saint Florian, the patron saint of fire brigades. The music pavilion rises from its hiding place once a week when the Going Federal Music Band plays its weekly open-air concert in the summer. On five Friday evenings in summer, almost forgotten skills come to life on the picturesque church square at the handicraft market. The mountain doctor film inn and the film pharmacy are also located on the church square, which is ideal for film and drama.
