"Our Lady in the Ostrachtal" - The church on the western outskirts of Bad Oberdorf contains some of the most important art treasures of the entire region. It was created in 1937/38 according to the plans of the Hindelang architect Thomas Wechs the Elder. next to the old St. Jodokus Chapel, which was demolished in 1950 due to moisture penetration and had become too small for the population. The Füssen carver Jörg Lederer, who created the altar in 1519, expressed the coronation of Mary by the Holy Trinity in his main work. Connoisseurs attest to the altar, which was exposed in its original version in 1935, to be one of the most pious altar works of the late Gothic period. Just a few steps from the altar is the palm donkey with Christ (created in 1470), which has been carried in the palm procession between Bad Oberdorf and Bad Hindelang every year since 1963.
