Nice place to camp if it's not too crowded! In summer season it's quite popular place for camping (misused by lot of people using this place as a free camping!). I'd rather recommend this place off-season, you'll have a bigger chance to have quite spot!

The Gileppe is a river in the Belgian Hautes Fagnes, a tributary of the Vesdre which is therefore part of the catchment area of the Meuse. Its source is in the Fagne Gulpin near the Croix Mockel (around the Baraque Michel). The Gileppe, channeled between the dam and its confluence, flows into the Vesdre at the hamlet of Béthane south-east of the village of Goé, after about twenty kilometers of course.

Hiking

Here there is the possibility of "officially" camping 🏕 in the forest. There is a shelter that seems to allow a campfire to be made. The course is located directly on the stream and not far from the lake.
