First mention in 1478 when sold by the family of the mountains. In its long history, it was used as a mill, oil, Grütz, Loh and sawmill.

From the beginning of the sixties until the end of the eighties the watermill was only used for the own needs of the mill yard, afterwards it was no longer used.
The mill, as seen today, dates from the early 18th century.

It is located on the Mill Island, just like the Backhaus. The bakery is from the 17th century and is still fully functional. At least once a year, for the traditional potato festival, bread is still baked here.

The mill is dated to the core construction of 1771. The half-timbered building was extended in several stages of construction and partially increased two-storey. It is a simple brick frame construction with pitched roofs covered with red clay pans.

The Soderstorf watermill was first attested in 1427. The mill has been owned by the Vogt family since 1650 and has been used in its long history as a milling, oil, groats, weaning and sawmill. In the 1960s, the Soderstorf watermill was only used for the Mühlenhof's own use and has been standing still since then.

Today's buildings on the mill island surrounded by the Luhe and the "mill flood" are from the early 19th century. The small building facing the street is the bakery and the larger half-timbered house on the edge of the grove is the mill building.
