Beautiful cycle path both asphalted and gravel, at times a little narrow, but well maintained. Crowded with people in the summer near the inhabited centers, it is still long enough to fully enjoy it.

The Villoresi canal takes its waters from the Ticino river, in the locality of Panperduto, in the municipality of Somma Lombardo. After traveling 86 kilometers, in the provinces of Milan and Monza Brianza, it throws itself into the Adda river in the municipality of Cassano d’Adda.

The construction works began in 1881 and ended in 1891 on a project by Eugenio Villoresi. Conceived exclusively for irrigation purposes, following the crisis of the cultures connected with the production of silk, the canal now allows the distribution of water in a plain area of about 85,000 hectares, by means of a network that reaches a total of about 3000 kilometers.
