The landscape in the Neuer Hagen nature reserve is unique. A nice open area with lots of views. In late summer the colorful Besenheide, in winter when there is snow it is a beautiful cross-country skiing area.

An absolute highlight in the Sauerland, especially when the heather blooms here in August, it is a magical place! And if you are lucky, you will meet the shepherd with his flock.

Heidel lovers get their money's worth here, here is a very large heath area.

Beautiful in every season. Especially in early autumn, when the high heath flowers and now in the winter time.

On the way lies the Hochheide hut. A stop is always worthwhile there. A hike through the heathland is very nice.

Very nice hiking trails in the Hochheide. A trip to Siggi's hut provides the necessary inner cooling.

The nearby hut is great for resting. In the NSG Neuer Hagen there are also benches everywhere to rest.

The Niedersfelder Hochheide is worth seeing in every season. In summer the flowers shine in the sun and in autumn clouds of mist spread over the heather. Many hiking trails lead through the heather.

Incredibly beautiful landscape. Nature lovers get their money's worth here. Cell phone junkies will get annoyed if the reception is sometimes poor.
Hiking trails and cross-country skiing trails are signposted. Also suitable for XC bikers.

In addition to the wonderful view, I can recommend the Heidehütte to everyone.
The cake is damn tasty and the service is great.

A landscape with rare flora - created by humans 3000 years ago. Today, efforts are made to preserve this artificial landscape.
