A plaque bore the following inscription:
I've been the bratwurst oak for over 100 years.
A hunt that Duke Ernst I makes gave me the name.
At that time there was a grove here, many hunters, drovers, big and small, and in the middle our prince, who was stalking many big stags.
You could also have schnapps, bratwurst and good beer here.
