The academy is located on an old heath farm (Hof Möhr).
Research is carried out on nature. Training material is being developed.
The former life on the Heidehöfen is nicely laid out and well explained here.
Among other things, a beautiful cottage garden, a meadow orchard, birdhouses and a natural sewage treatment plant can be seen.
The Uhlestieg also runs here. A nice hiking trail with explanations.
The heather river Böhme has its source here on the edge of the Pietzmoor.
It flows through the Heidekreis to the south and flows into the Aller at Böhme.

The Möhr farm near Schneverdingen is the seat of the Lower Saxony Nature Conservation Academy, which has set up an environmental education center there. A farm garden, children's adventure trail and the Uhlenstieg as a landscape trail are part of the education center.

The Hof Möhr serves as the seat of the Alfred Toepfer Academy for Nature Conservation. There is a lot to discover in the Hofgut garden. An "exhibition" of nesting aids for birds and insects with different models, a constructed wetland, a cottage garden and much more. Much more than just an ordinary educational institution.
