The Alfred Toepfer Academy for Nature Conservation (NNA) (formerly the North German Nature Conservation Academy) is a continuing education institution of the state of Lower Saxony in the fields of nature conservation, landscape management, and education for sustainable development. It is a non-independent public institution and belongs to the Lower Saxony Ministry of the Environment. Founded in 1981, the NNA is headquartered at Hof Möhr outside Schneverdingen in the Lüneburg Heath. It was named after Alfred Toepfer after his death in 1995, as Toepfer's acquisition of Hof Möhr in 1977 laid the foundation for the establishment of the academy.

Mountain biking

The Alfred Töpfer Academy for Nature Conservation, or NNA for short, is located under old oak trees on the Möhr farm. It is an international training and meeting place for nature conservation sponsored by the state of Lower Saxony.
The Möhr farm is located at the gates of Schneverdingen, a little hidden in the forest. It is a beautifully situated farm with an orchard, a plant-based sewage treatment system and much more that young and old can discover and experience.
