The landscape park next to Ysenburg Castle was laid out from 1746 and redesigned around a hundred years later based on the English model. This is the first designated landscape monument in the state of Hesse. The carbonated Sauerbrunnen, which has been known since at least 1435, lies between mighty trees in the middle of the park. Easily digestible water gushes out of the mineral fountain. The taste takes getting used to, however.

It is worth taking a bottle with you so that you can drink some of the refreshingly cool water of the Sauerbrunnen and take it with you.
