This dovecote dates from the time when keeping pigeons was only reserved for the nobility. During the occupation, the dovecote was destroyed because the Germans feared that the pigeons were being used for communication purposes. The dovecote was rebuilt in 1994 based on old photos.

Beautiful dovecote, nice that it has been rebuilt. It's a shame that those hay bales are right next to it....
