A farm road from Fredenbecker Weg leads to the Schwingetal. Nice views towards Wiepenkathen. Via the Thun farm, the road continues in the direction of the foot and bike path to Wiepenkathen with the beautiful wooden bridge over the Schwinge. At the time of the bird migration, hundreds (thousands?) Of geese rest here and eat their fill in the meadows.
A detour to the Barger Heide is also worthwhile. The heather blooms in September. A flock of sheep ensures short vegetation.
