Matterhorn Gotthard Railway

The Matterhorn Gotthard Bahngesellschaft operates various routes in the center of the Alps. No easy task: Even during construction, the many tunnels and bridges were a real challenge. The Matterhorn Gotthard Railway travels through the most beautiful areas of the Swiss Alps. It runs from Zermatt in the canton of Valais via Andermatt in the canton of Uri to Disentis in Graubünden. Including the route from Andermatt to Göschenen, the entire route network measures 144 kilometers.
