Roughly 600m up a small dirt road, fairly easy terrain would be ok on a road bike, gravel bike would be better/

This beacon used to be a valuable aid to aircraft coming off the Atlantic into Western Europe. As such it’s a fairly high powered beacon and can be picked up from nearly 250 miles away. Now it’s pretty much a relic of a bygone era as GPS has pretty much taken over aircraft navigation.
