Towpath

While being on the outskirts of the city, you feel like in another universe. Whether on the side of the floating gardens, also called hortillonnages, or the peacefully flowing river, you no longer know where to look. Everyone will find in this route reasons to stroll and admire or else to practice a sporting activity far from the tumults of the city. This path being narrow in places and sometimes very busy, please respect other users, remain courteous and careful.

A very pretty segment of the Somme towpath, in the heart of the city and yet full of greenery, gardens, and islets to discover. For those who like to ride hard: avoid weekends and very nice days, because the path is very busy with pedestrians and quite narrow.
