This lake is of volcanic origin and is located in the town of Chambon-sur-Lac. Two beaches have been developed for swimming and water sports.
A path allows you to go around it. Portions on stilts allow you to follow the shore of the lake passing through marshy areas.
The circumference of the lake is 3.5 kilometers.

Lake Chambon owes its origin to a volcanic flow that obstructed the Couze Chambon. Beaches are set up on the northern and western parts of the lake but it is possible to go around it to enjoy the calm of nature on the southern banks.
