Unfortunately there is currently no gastronomy, only in Bad Colberg is Sabine's Café. Worth seeing is the local church or the oldest fortified church in Germany, St. Andreas up on the mountain.

Ummerstadt is a town in the Hildburghausen district in Thuringia and has been a member of the Heldburger Unterland administrative community since 1994. With 468 inhabitants (December 31, 2020), it is the smallest town in Thuringia, the smallest in the Franconian region and the second smallest in Germany. The entire historical location of Ummerstadt is under monument protection, and there are also numerous individual monuments.
