Lindenau-Autenhausen Border Crossing (Border Trail Station 11)

On the former border line to Bavaria, this plaque reminds us of the opening of the border here. The population of Lindenau and surroundings lent
the effort to open the border here too with impressive demonstrations.

The area around the border square between Autenhausen and Lindenau was recently redesigned.
Just in time for the 35th anniversary of the opening of the border between the two towns on December 2nd,
thanks to the efforts of Angelika Hopf and Rudolf Heinlein, everything is shining in new splendor. The square has been upgraded and given a worthy setting.
