Kloster Rühn and Klosterschänke

The monastery was built in the 13th century as a Cistercian convent for virgins. After an eventful history, it is now owned by the "Klosterverein Rühn e.V.", which lovingly takes care of the facility and has brought life back to the place with a clever concept. Look at everything in peace and let yourself be pampered in the monastery tavern.

During the day there are delicious cakes in the newly opened Klosterschänke. Just the right place for a little break on a bike ride. Visits to the monastery are only possible after prior notification, but the key to the monastery church is in the tavern.
