Here is the beginning of the Höhr-Grenzhausen forest adventure trail. Definitely worth it for a family outing with children.

Hikers' parking lot in a good location right on the edge of the forest. Approx. 30 parking spaces (gravel) for cars right on the edge of the forest, many more on the access road (mountain road). Great for starting various hiking tours around the Montabäurer Höhe
