Camping The forest is calling! is a small green charming campsite in the Robbenoordbos in Slootdorp (Wieringermeer) in North Holland. 100 years ago fish swam here. Now you will see hedgehogs, rabbits, foxes, owls, buzzards and deer. Embraced by a very varied and large forest. And in the evening we were treated to the beautiful gak-gak-gak of hundreds of flying geese when they are on the trek. Welcome to: The forest is calling! A surprising camping opportunity between trees, shrubs and natural forest dwellers. A different world than you are used to. You are welcome with the tent, camper and caravan. Or moor your boat on one of the jetties because "The forest is calling!" is opposite a waterway that meanders through the forest. A fully equipped shelter has been constructed for cyclists (and their bicycles).
