Located in the upper part of Val Monzoni, on the side of Val di Fassa in Trentino, the Torquato Taramelli refuge has been serving a bar, restaurant and overnight stay since 1904. It is the last one left in Trentino in its original cube-shaped structure. Small and rustic, it maintains a pleasant informal atmosphere. It has around 16 beds and is named after the geologist Torquato Taramelli, founder and president of the Società Alpina Friulana, local section of the Italian Alpine Club, in 1874.
