Wikipedia: The Saslong (from Saslonch, the Ladin name of the Langkofel) is a ski slope in Val Gardena in South Tyrol. It is best known for the men's downhill runs in the Alpine Ski World Cup that are held on it. The route leads from the Ciampinoi cable car station below the Langkofel down into the valley. The destination is near the center of St. Christina in Val Gardena in the municipality of Selva.
