Bryn Meadows is a golf course and holiday resort situated on the mountainside overlooking Blackwood, Pontllanfraith and Ystrad Mynach. After hiking across the valley, it's the perfect place to stop for a beer as you walk back down towards the Bryn.

The gym/spa facilities are also to be recommended and—if you're a golfer—the course is one of the best around.
