Mondsee lido Hohenmölsen

A sandy beach, sunbathing lawn, barbecue facilities, and a dedicated dog beach—all for a small entrance fee. The lake was voted online, among many others, as the tenth most beautiful lake in Germany, and it definitely comes highly recommended!

Lake Mondsee is located near Döbris in Saxony-Anhalt.
Lake lovers from the surrounding towns of Hohenmölsen (about 3.6 km from the lake), Deuben (4.9 km to the shore), and Draschwitz (about 5.5 km away) can find a place to cool off or relax in the sun on hot days in Lake Mondsee.
The nearest large town from which you can visit the lake is Hohenmölsen.
Other lakes nearby are Auensee (about 8.2 km), Kretzschauer See (about 8.8 km), and Werbener See (about 10.0 km).
The lake is located in the Burgenlandkreis district and has an area of approximately 36 hectares.

From autumn 2020, drilling is to be carried out to raise the water level again.
In summer, a hike around the lake is definitely worthwhile if you can then refresh yourself in the crystal-clear water. Gastronomic support is offered until mid-September.
