I can only add to the applicable tip from Kurpfalzradler that the paths are very easy to drive with a view of the partly renatured Kraichbach. And of course there is plenty of seating for a break.
At the northern end on Kalsruher Straße there is a nice place to stop for a break.

After several years of construction, the park on the renatured Kraichbach in Hockenheim is now ready. The bike paths are well signposted and there is even a public toilet!
From my point of view it was worth the wait.
