The church is visible in the center of the village; the renovated church tower greets from afar. In addition to Sora, this church also includes Lampersdorf and Lotzen. In 2005 the parishes of Sora, Naustadt and Röhrsdorf merged to form the St. Bartholomew parish of Röhrsdorf.
