Canal Latéral à la Garonne (Lot-et-Garonne Section)

Beautiful section of the "Véloroute des deux mers" on the Canal latéral à la Garonne ". This stretch is between the small houseboat in Fontet and Marcellus. The path is paved as far as Meilhan-sur-Garonne and can be driven wonderfully until Marcellus is the path Most of the time you drive in the shade of mighty trees and feel like you are in a green tunnel. There are also some open passages, in the hot season you notice the difference immediately.
In Meilhan-sur-Garonne there is a nice restaurant right on the water of the Garonne and on the bike path, shortly afterwards there is a small café.

Beautiful canal, beautiful landscape, a few locks, a few places to stop for refreshments.
