Wesertor Bridge:
The pedestrian bridge, which went into operation in 2000, connects the city center with the district on the west bank at a historic location. The first wooden summer bridge stood at this old Weser crossing as early as 1512 during the time of the Counts of Hoya. It had to be dismantled in winter due to ice drift.
