Super worth seeing. What hardly anyone knows: The green compartment is the original government car by Walter Ulbricht!

Very worth seeing former railway depot in Wittenberge, consisting of the administration building "Lokdienstleitung", signal box and engine shed with turntable. The collection is well maintained and ranges from class 50 and 44 steam locomotives to diesel locomotives (including class 114, 118, V 60 and Köf II) of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (GDR) to the V 320 of the former Deutsche Bundesbahn, which is owned today of the Wiebe company. In addition, a MaK 600 D was also found in the engine shed, which was formerly in service with the OHE. The outdoor facilities are also impeccably maintained. The 5 euro entrance fee is a good investment.

If you cycle from Wittenberge station to the Elbe, you will first pass this beautiful signal box. There is usually also a steam locomotive nearby to admire.
