A really great alpine pasture. We stayed there for 2 nights at the end of August 2021. The landlady Marianne and all the staff are really very friendly and accommodating. They really make an effort for the guests.
Really good and lovingly prepared food.
The Stie-Alm also has 2-bed rooms under the roof on the 1st floor with a shower/toilet on the ground floor.
The rooms are small, only 2 x 2 m, and have a bed box measuring 1.80 x 1.80 m! With a bed box you can't stick your feet out! No problem for smaller people around 1.60 to 1.80. Otherwise you just have to "fold up" at night.
Prices: 2 x overnight stay/good breakfast and good dinner 119,- per person.
Great atmosphere. Absolutely recommended!
Fresh cheese is made every other day at the alpine cheese dairy. You can watch and, upon request, also visit the cheese ripening cellar underneath.

Highest alpine cheese dairy in Upper Bavaria at 1,529 m. The ripening cellar for the alpine cheese is located in the basement of the cheese dairy.
Fresh cheese is made every other morning.
Around 350 liters of milk are needed for a 35 kg wheel of cheese.
