Kitzbüheler Horn (1,996 m)

The Kitzbühler Horn, at 1,996 m, is the landmark of Kitzbühel and can be seen from far away thanks to the transmitter mast on the summit and its distinctive "triangular" shape. Unfortunately, the summit is "overdeveloped" - the summit can be easily reached via the Hornbahn or toll road and is therefore always very busy at the summit. Nevertheless - you wouldn't believe it - a beautiful and scenic path - far away from all the hustle and bustle - leads along the "old Hornweg" at least to the Alpenhaus. Although I was here at the end of July, I was almost alone on this path. There are certainly more beautiful summits - but it offers a magnificent panorama, including of the Wilder Kaiser. I also found the Alpine flower garden beautiful and very informative.
