The Katzenbuckel is located in the Neckar-Odenwald district, Baden-Württemberg.
- he is an extinct volcano
- approx. 627 m above sea level NHN and the highest point in the Odenwald
- There is a lookout tower (approx. 20 m high) and a geological educational trail "Path of Crystals"
- is located above Waldkatzenbach (a district of Waldbrunn) on the country road 524 between Mudau and Eberbach
