For more than 900 years, millers have harnessed the tidal power of Eling Creek to grind wheat into flour. The mill you see today, however, was built in the 18th century after a fire destroyed the original mill. Visitors to the Grade II-listed mill can step back in time and watch the restored machinery operating as it would have done for hundreds of years.
