Friedrichshafener Hut

The enchanting refuge is in a fantastic location at 2,151 meters on a lake where even trout swim. Hikers or bikers can reach the secluded hut on the Muttenalpe above the Paznaun from Ischgl. If you like, you can even spend the night up here. Those coming from Ischgl tour slightly uphill in a north-easterly direction through forests and across wonderfully blooming meadows. Then it goes over serpentines to the hut.

The ascent is an experience by bike. Once at the top, the reward awaits: the breathtaking view of the Silvretta with the mighty Flühhorn. The peace and solitude make you quickly forget everyday life. Then you can drive from the Friedrichshafener to the Heilbronner and on to the Wormser Hütte.

That all sounds good, but from the Friedrichshafener Hut the ascent by bike is impossible! We are very experienced bikers, but something like that is not possible and definitely not recommended!

From the Friedrichshafener Hut, you have to carry your bike over the Schafbichljoch and reach the beautiful Schottensee, then you have to push it down to the Fassulalm. Only from here is the path rideable to the Konstanzer Hut.
Conclusion: Stay away from e-bikes. You won't be able to handle it! It's OK up to the Friedrichshafener Hut. My tip: spend the night there and then head down to Kappl See and Wiesberg the next day, and then back to St. Anton. That makes more sense.
