Pic de l'Aigle

On the almost 1000 meter high Giepfel you have a very nice view of the Alps with Mont Blac. On the other side you can see the two beautiful lakes ... The Lac de la Motte ou d'Ilay and Lac du Grand Maclu

Nice view over the lakes and the whole Jura. There is a nice walk from the top to two other viewpoints.

On the summit of the Pic d'Aigle (993 m), often called the Bec de l'Aigle (eagle's beak), you can see the entire Jura mountains at your feet. One looks into the gorge of Ilay, through which the D 678 runs on its way through the heights of La Chaux-du-Dombief. On the left you can see the mountain ranges of the Jura, behind which the summit of Montblanc emerges in very nice weather. On the right, the plateaus can be seen above the Saône plain.
