The town hall of Ochsenfurt impresses with its oxblood red facade and the imposing outside staircase.
The lance tower on the roof is the city's landmark. The turret contains a play of figures whose clockwork also drives a moon clock.
The puppet play comes into action every full hour.

The new town hall of Ochsenfurt is a landmark of the city with the lance tower. The year 1497 is written above the town hall, but the building was not completed until 1513 and expanded two years later.
Below the steps of the town hall is the so-called fool's house and in the building there is the historic conference room with a large oil painting of the Last Judgment and the owl's cup.
