If you want to see those hunebeds you have to pay close attention, I missed them all, but it was a nice bike ride.

Romanyà de la Selva is not only famous for this church, but also for having been the place where the renowned Catalan author Mercè Rodoreda lived and wrote, finding inspiration in the beauty and calm of the place.

This small town is located in the heart of the Gavarres massif. Its old town consists of various farmhouses, among which the Refugi or Can Güitó farmhouse stands out. In the latter you can see a terminus cross of modernist style. Also noteworthy is the church of Sant Martí de Romanyà (10th century), with a Greek cross plan and the bell tower (built in the 11th century).

In the surroundings you can find very well preserved megalithic dolmens, such as those of the Cueva d'en Daina, the Roquet dolmen, or the Murtra menhir.
